The Depth to Invert is a property which is often required to be displayed in the profile view (longitudinal section):
Unfortunately, the Civil 3D profile view bands cannot display this information. Devotech iDAS has tools to create profiles showing this property, however, the profiles from pipes data is not dynamic meaning that it has to be updated or recreated when the design changes. Labels can be used for stormwater and sewer network profile views displaying the Depth to Invert values only at the structures. See the following video for more details:
