Random missing pipe and structure labels in profile view bands

Recently, we encountered several drawings where pipe and structure labels were missing from the pipe network profile view bands. In the example below, the profile view appears incomplete, with many labels missing, even though the pipes and structures themselves are visible.

Before investigating further, we verified the following:

• All layers are turned on

• There is no mix of pipe and structure labels and profile view band labels

• All pipes and structures belong to the same network

We also tried to recover the drawing, but it did not solve the problem.

After testing, we identified the following solutions to resolve the issue:

• Recreate the profile views

  This method works, but it may not be practical if the profile views are already placed on plan production sheets.

• Remove and re-add the network to the profile views

  This is a more efficient approach, as demonstrated in the video below.

  Using the Devotech iDAS Draw Parts command (also called Clean Up in the compact ribbon), you can add and remove multiple pipe networks across multiple profile views simultaneously, making the process much faster.
